Its all ways sad these couple days, Christmas is over, and its time to put everything away until next year......

But it is exciting also as a new year begins, and all the promise it bring s with it!!

Christmas Home Tour

Hi Dolls!

So I am a little late with this....

But I am linking up with Kelly's Korner

I took all these pics with my cell phone so they are not the best quality, but you get the main idea..lol

I just haven't had time (or my house clean enough) to take the big camera out to get good pics.

This is our masterbedroom and tree number 1 of 4 lol
I want to add 2 more trees next year for a total of 6!!

This is our big tree......it is in the living room, and it is the tree santa leaves the gifts under.

Its decorated in red and gold, and the tree skirt (yes its not a wrap around one) was made by my mom 20 years ago! It is the tree skirt we had on our tree every year growing up!!

This is mini-me and baby's bedroom, they love that I put decorations in their room this year!
some greenery with lights and a nativity scene that i bought at the Dollarama!

This is a little table by the entry way, I bought the striped cones for 6.99 at a sidewalk sale last summer.......I was at the same store (home hardware) a few weeks ago and they same set was 26.99!!!

This is Princess's room
a few touches of red, some christmas stuffies on the bed and a few christmas-y items on her night table!

oh, and we can't forget these cute little snow men (bought at the Dollarama)
and the Gold Canyon Candle in "Peppermint Bark" scent.....it smells sooo good!

A close up of her night table

ok this one is blurry but it is a glass block with a hole drilled in the side and christmas lights stuffed inside. Then you tie a bow around it (making it look like a present!!)

I got this cute nativity scene at a yard sale last summer!

This is the dining room and tree #3 of 4

This is also where we hang our stockings.....

My Chistmas center peice ( I have since added some shiny red balls to the greenery giving it a more finished look)
Episome salts as the snow,, then some fake red berries and a Gold Canyon "Cobbler on the porch"candle!

This shelf is in the kitchen

This is looking from the dining room out to the entry way.....love the twinkle lights!

Princess is pretty cute too! lol

Well that ends my christmas home tour for this year!

Hope you enjoyed it!

Hi Dolls!

Its Christmas Eve!!!

 Yay!!!

We have a busy day ahead of us today, but we are trying to get as much relaxing time as possible along the way!

Do you have Christmas Eve Traditions? If so what are they?

We don't have any set in stone traditions yet, but today was really nice!

We start the day by sleeping in!! (and sleeping in this house means 8:30am at the very latest!)

then we do a bit of lounging around before I start to make Christmas Eve brunch!

Scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns!! Yum!

Then I do the dishes, while the three girls tidy there rooms and make their beds.

Then the baths start! We are very lucky and have have to full baths, so we can have to seperate baths going at one time!!!! lol

Then at 3:30pm we head off to my parents house for Turkey dinner!

Then Church is at 6:30pm (and shouldnt last any longer than 30-40 minutes)

then back to my mom and dad's for munchies and visits from family and friends!!

Home by 9pm just in time for the girls to leave santa and the reideer their snack, brush heir teeth and get jammies on, then its off to bed for them 3.....

while this momma finishes wrapping presents(i know, i know!!! leaving it to the last minute lol atleast this year i have 3/4 of the presens all ready wrapped! The last 2 years I wrapped EVERYTHING Christmas Eve!!)

Then Myself and Hubba Hubby head to bed ;)

We normally have turkey on Christmas day, but I think i will like this better!

Christmas day is tiring...lol get up early to open gifts, then the clean up and then have to cook a big meal llike turkey dinner!! Whoo!! That's alot of work!!

I think I am going to like this Christmas day alot!!!

Get u early to open presents......tidy up the mess and then.......RELAX! ha! Nice thing to do before we go visiting and the visitors start!!

Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of he Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end."

Tis the day before Christmas Eve!!!

Hi Dolls!

It is the day before Christmas Eve!!!

The good people of Newfoundland refer to this day as "Tipsy Eve"  A day to enjoy family, friends and a few (or alot) alcoholic drinks!

But here in my neck of the woods its just the day before Christmas Eve.....one of the last days to shop before the big day.........

Lucky for me my shopping is complete!! So I get to spend the day cleaning my house, and enjoying the voices of my children (somewhere in the house) playing (and fighting).

Mini-me & Baby snuggled up watching a movie on netflix)

The snow is coming down in a nice thick blanket!!! Up until this morning we had bare grass......I was actually outside in flipflops yesterday!!

(part of our backyard)

 (looking out the front door)

(again looking out the front door ...but to the left)

(looking out front door to the right......yes I am a school bus driver!)

It finally feels very Christmas-y!!!

Warm house, Christmas tree full of beautiful decorations, hot cocoa, Christmas music playing, and now the snow falling so beautifully outside!!

Well I am off to do a gazillion loads of laundry..........and scrub floors....so much fun! :(

Have a good tipsy eve!!!!

Hi Dolls!

This is my first post on this new blog! And I am so excited! Ha!

I have been writing another blog off and on for the past few year, but its about a whole lot of nothing!

I am a HUGE fan of alot of awesome Blogs that are out there.....so many talented, inspiring ladies out there!!

I have wanted to start a new blog for a while, but just never got around to it......

But now its Christmas break....(I am on holidays for 13 days!!!) So I took a couple hours early this morning  (before the yahoos roll out of bed.....and by yahoos i mean my 3 sweet children!) to get this thing going.  Coffee in hand, Christmas music playing softly (as to not wake the yahoos) and here i go!

My name (not my real name but what you can call me) is Miss Weigh. I am a 30 year old Wife to hubba hubby, and mother to 3 beauties (3 girls) I like to call Princess (10 years..also not her real name), Mini-Me (7 years) and Baby (5 years).

We live in wastern Canada, in a small town that we absolutly love!!!

We have 3 fur babies (2 dogs....1 big( Riya) 1 small (Duke) and 1 kitty (Shadow))

Princess and Mini-Me are hockey players.....and baby is a dancer!

hubba hubby is ex-military......he likes to tell people he is "retired" lol
The truth is he had a routine surgery when he was 24 that went wrong, and ended up having 3 follow up surgeries that just made the situation worse........and after the 3rd surgery was hospitalized for 3 days in which time we found out hubba hubby had stage 3 Hodgekins Lymphoma.

So after 6 months of Chemo.....Hubba hubby was in "complete remission" which meant the cancer was no longer in his body, but it just cant be called Cancer free until he has been in complete remission for 5 years (Novemeber 2011 was 4 years!!!)
Anyway.....during the 6 months of chemo, they ut the problems from the surgery on the back burner and just feed him pain meds for the pain.....so by the time he finished chemo they said there was really nothing they could do for his other problem and called it "chronic pain" and released him from the military (on a pretty good pension mind you) and said he would never work again!

So instead of explaining all that out everytime he just tells people he is retired! ha!!

The look on peoples faces is priceless!!! ( as he is only 30 now!)

So with all this behind us, we moved to my home town, and have been living and beathing and loving everyday making our life here!
