We have a busy day ahead of us today, but we are trying to get as much relaxing time as possible along the way!
Do you have Christmas Eve Traditions? If so what are they?
We don't have any set in stone traditions yet, but today was really nice!
We start the day by sleeping in!! (and sleeping in this house means 8:30am at the very latest!)
then we do a bit of lounging around before I start to make Christmas Eve brunch!
Scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and hashbrowns!! Yum!
Then I do the dishes, while the three girls tidy there rooms and make their beds.
Then the baths start! We are very lucky and have have to full baths, so we can have to seperate baths going at one time!!!! lol
Then at 3:30pm we head off to my parents house for Turkey dinner!
Then Church is at 6:30pm (and shouldnt last any longer than 30-40 minutes)
Home by 9pm just in time for the girls to leave santa and the reideer their snack, brush heir teeth and get jammies on, then its off to bed for them 3.....
while this momma finishes wrapping presents(i know, i know!!! leaving it to the last minute lol atleast this year i have 3/4 of the presens all ready wrapped! The last 2 years I wrapped EVERYTHING Christmas Eve!!)
Then Myself and Hubba Hubby head to bed ;)
We normally have turkey on Christmas day, but I think i will like this better!
Christmas day is tiring...lol get up early to open gifts, then the clean up and then have to cook a big meal llike turkey dinner!! Whoo!! That's alot of work!!
I think I am going to like this Christmas day alot!!!
Get u early to open presents......tidy up the mess and then.......RELAX! ha! Nice thing to do before we go visiting and the visitors start!!
Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of he Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end."
Luke 1:29-33
